The Happy Birthday Incident was a mistaken mass ping that took place in the Bearman3600 discord server on April 15th, 2026. At 6:42 AM (UTC) chud moderator young mola sent the message "@everyone say happy birthday", causing considerable unrest in the general chat channel.
Background
Approximately 2 minutes before the ping took place, the human savings account for Bearman, e_soup replied to a question by Mola about voice chat activity. Mola asked "is there something special going on", e_soup replied "Yeah its my birthday". A snowball effect quickly occurred, with multiple users chiming in happy birthday. Quickly an inside joke formed, with multiple users and chud moderators giving happy birthday wishes to random users. Mola wished to follow up on the joke with a quick response, forming a now infamous message.
Reactions
Reactions to the ping were mixed. Some users chimed into greet and congratulate the faux birthday celebration, mistakenly thinking the message was attributed to Bearman himself. Other users and chud moderators condemned the action, Fleur responding with "MOLA GODDAMNIT" and Mouks exclaiming "dude are you fucking retarded". Bearman himself chimed in, leaving a 1 worded response of "What" initially, later Bearman would follow up with the messages "May six is my ittydat" and "God bles fagots" with a cake emoticon. The exact amount of involved users is unknown, however the message was estimated to reach 40+ users within the first 5 minutes of posting.
Aftermath
Following the public scolding from fellow users and moderators, Mola apologized to the affected parties. Despite the mixed reactions, users later joked positively regarding the ping, repeating the happy birthday wish multiple times in replies. The message would be pinned about 20 minutes later at 7:02 AM (UTC) by Mola.
